With over 33 years of experience, Sayed Humayun Qaisar is a distinguished former Director of Radio Kashmir (All India Radio), where he produced and presented over 10,000 groundbreaking programs. His innovative approach revolutionized radio broadcasting, notably with introducing the live game show Dhadkan, which captivated audiences across India for 17 years. He is known for transforming radio from a one-way medium to an interactive and engaging platform, fostering a direct connection with listeners.
Qaisar’s pioneering contributions extend beyond broadcasting. He was instrumental in developing radio programs that blended entertainment with education, including Youth Pulse and Spectrum. These shows offered a platform for young talent and encouraged participation from the community. His expertise in cricket, sports journalism, and his involvement in organizing major international events, including the London 2012 Olympics, and ICC Champions Trophy 2018 set him apart as a media innovator and a sports commentator of repute.
